Get Physical has held a series of events to promote our aim of encouraging take-up of physical activity among NHS staff and patients and the wider workforce in order to improve health and wellbeing.
Our most recent events were a series of roadshows in November at which senior managers in the public and private sectors shared experience and ideas on the importance and practice of health and wellbeing in the workplace. Get Physical was set up by Oxford Academic Health Science Network in partnership with Oxfordshire Sport & Physical Activity, Get Berkshire Active, Leap and Public Health England.
Get Physical is a partnership launched in 2015 to improve health and wellbeing in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire. The initial focus was on encouraging the take-up of physical activity among NHS staff and patients.
